Yang Terminal ("we", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our web application at yangterminal.com.

Data stored locally: Your thesis, trade ideas, daily logs, and other content you create are stored in your browser (IndexedDB) and are never sent to our servers unless you explicitly use features that require it (e.g. AI consistency checks).
Analytics (optional): If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (pages visited, session duration). This data is processed by Google and subject to their privacy policy. We do not collect personally identifiable information through analytics.
3. Cookies
We use cookies only with your consent:
- Essential: Required for the app to function (e.g. beta access token, preferences). These do not require consent under EU law.
- Analytics: Google Analytics cookies, used only if you choose "Accept all" in our cookie banner.
You can change your cookie preferences at any time in Settings.

We process analytics data on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw consent at any time by selecting "Essential only" in Settings. Essential processing is necessary for the performance of our service (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

6. Data retention
Local data (thesis, trades, logs) remains in your browser until you clear it. Analytics data is retained according to Google's policies (typically up to 14 months for standard reports).

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
